Another great family photo shoot on a pure white background giving a nice clean modern and uncluttered look. A really relaxed session with a nice couple and their gorgeous little girl who was an absolute pleasure to photograph. The young lady later took quite an interest in my camera almost swiping it on a number of occasions, I don’t know if kids are getting quicker or i’m just getting slower?!

Liz’s 70th Birthday at the Great Central Railway

There are some locations I love photographing and the Great Central Railway in Loughborough is one of them. So having the chance to photograph a 30+ group for a birthday party was great fun and the weather managed to hold out after a morning of drizzle. I think my next bit of photography kit is possibly going to be a super-wide angle lens as you really don’t realise just how close I was to falling off the platform when taking the main group shot!!

I hope liz had a fantastic day on the train with all her family and friends….

Mubu hairdressing photo shoot

Mubu hairdressing is based in Loughborough. The shop is really fresh and modern, all the staff are friendly and down to earth giving the place a relaxed, welcoming and lively feel.

Some of the staff at mubu hairdressing are entering their first hair dressing competition. So I got a last minute call to take some photos of the finished hair. We only had an hour so we set up at the back of the salon and took these images against the wall. The models were a bit nervous at first but they looked gorgeous and I think we got some really great shots.

A super quick family photo shoot which only lasted about 10 mins…. plenty of time to get some great shots of three generations of ladies, oh and a couple of a quite reluctant dad!! The lovely Grandma in this shoot was extremely smiley all the way through the session, when I mentioned this I found out she was flying off to Mexico in next couple days! That’s gotta put a smile on your face!

Natu’s 60th Birthday Party

This was Natu’s surprise 60th Birthday celebration held at the Fusion bar on the Loughborough University campus. It was an excellent party, really well organised and at a great venue. Everybody was extremely nice and made me feel very welcome indeed. Unfortunately I made the mistake of eating something before I turned up… Some of the mothers wouldn’t allow me to leave until I had eaten something and of course I had to finally give-in as the smell of the curry was fantastic!!

A big thank you to Hanish and his family for making me a part of their wonderful celebration.

Ward family photoshoot

It was really great to have a photo session with the Ward family again after previously photographing their wedding a few years back . And now with their first child together, the gorgeous little Anya. She was brilliant in front of the camera always staring straight at the lens which always helps, although she was like a rocket when she crawled so I had to very be quick. Great couple, great kid…. great shoot!

Here is a recent lifestyle studio shoot with the fantastic Upton family. What a cracking family to photograph, really down to earth, energetic and I swear they never blinked once!! Besides the lovely Mum & Dad the family includes two chefs, being the oldest and youngest sons and an absolutely stunning daughter in the middle.
